For thirteen years our spunky 5-5-5 program has been equipping residents and their families to serve the Lord Jesus Christ. Our state-of-the-art, fully-loaded, computerized, wireless clinic is the centerpiece of our professional life. Our team of faculty, nurses and business staff and our 100 patient visits a day guarantee daily learning and terrific hands-on experience for each resident.
Our 500-bed hospital provides every ancillary test, service, and 'ologist' you can name.

Community
Our Tex-Mex culture brings the best of the Southwest together in one friendly, supportive, small-town atmosphere. Toss in a little South Padre Island for flavor and you get a great place to work, play, and raise a family.
Our dynamic community outreaches include the Summer Medical Institute (SMI) and weekly free clinics for our poverty-stricken neighbors. These experiences offer each resident real-life preparation for short and long term medical missions as well as real-life practice in rural, urban or third world settings.

Curriculum
Our fully-accredited, apprentice-style curriculum drives the rotation-model guys crazy. Our residents are not owned by internists or surgeons. We are family docs, doing family doctoring. Our unique scheduling means flexibility: more opportunity for procedures like OB ultrasound, colonscopy, vaginal and operative deliveries, colposcopy and plenty of patient encounters, home visits, school outreaches and health fairs.
